Building an XML Network
Using the hubs and routers developed by Planet 7 Technologies, organizations create an XML software infrastructure that is easily updated and extended by adding XML applications. These can be legacy applications using XML adaptors, new business logic, or needed services such as an application that records transactions in a database. Literally any application that "speaks" XML is ready to snap into this network and join in a web of distributed services.
Hubs are easy to add and can be easily brought on-line to handle higher user loads, providing the XML Network with nearly unlimited scalability. Redundant servers can be added and kept current by simply plugging the new resource into the XML data stream and providing rules about the frequency of synchronization. And through the use of namespaces and subnets, the work of connecting to remote machines is handled transparently--simplifying deployment and system customization.
